At Bachtobel Manor House you can be Lord of the Manor for a day and enjoy, with up to 24 people, the quiet, unique and authentic atmosphere of our Biedermeier Manor House.

All the rooms with their original furnishings from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as the whole park are at the disposal of our guests. Rooms such as the yellow Biedermeier room, the two salons, the ancestors’ gallery or the valets’ room are in their original und unspoilt condition. You can play a relaxing game of billiards at the house’s own billiard table, and in the music room there is real Steinway grand piano waiting to be played. Of course our guests have access to the well-stocked wine cellar, so that suitable wines to accompany your repast can be selected on the spot. The 230 year family history and the long tradition of winemaking at the Bachtobel can be experienced by visiting the whole estate with the present owner, Johannes Meier, or with our experienced sommelier Franziska Osterwalder.
